PELZER PROJECTS is...

a fine art publishing company that foregrounds printmaking as an artform. Based in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, the company produces limited-edition prints pairing artists with master printmakers. 

Leon Pelzer Kirkland is the founder of Pelzer Projects.  A longtime collector of works on paper by Black and women artists, he started Pelzer Projects in 2023 to promote art education and accessibility. Leon is a lawyer by profession; he has spent the last 13 years of his career at a leading global bank where he currently serves as Associate General Counsel. A Philadelphia native, he holds a B.A. from Morehouse College and a J.D. from New York University.
